Software Studio · Illinois · Est. 2026

Software for the people who run toward the call — and the agencies who send them.

Wexford Studios builds field-tested tools for first responders. Made by people who work the field, reliable when it matters most, and private by design. We start where the call happens, then build backward from there.

01 — Approach

What we stand for

We don't guess at the work. We've done it.

Wexford Studios is built from inside the work. Our founder runs calls as a Firefighter/Paramedic — so every tool starts on the apparatus and at the bedside, shaped by real shifts and held to one standard: it has to hold up when the call comes in.

Built by the field

Designed by a working Firefighter/Paramedic. Domain truth from real shifts on the engine and the box — built from inside the job.

Domain truth

Works when it matters

Offline-first by default. Reliable in the basement, the stairwell, the dead-zone highway — the exact places where a connected app quits.

No dead zones

Private by design

Patient data never leaves the edge. Our tools are designed to never receive PHI — built to avoid HIPAA business-associate exposure, not just encrypt around it.

No PHI by design

Sovereign

Self-hosted on the edge. Agencies keep control of their own data and their own infrastructure — no lock-in, no surprise cloud dependency.

02 — Who We Serve

The people we build for

For the field, and for the people who run it.

We build for the responders making split-second calls and for the agencies and systems standing behind them — because a tool only earns its keep when it works for both ends of the radio.

EMS systems
Hospital-based systems that author and own the protocols their crews carry.
Fire departments
Crews who need the right answer fast — on the apparatus, on scene, with gloves on.
First-responder agencies
The broader field of people who answer the call — and need tools that hold up under it.
03 — Products

What we've built so far

Our first product is already on real calls.

Wexford Studios is a studio, not a single app — but every studio starts somewhere. Our first product is in a live field-test pilot with real crews, today.

Medic Field Guide
First Product · Live in the field

Your system's complete protocol set and a deterministic drug calculator — in your medic's pocket, signal or not.

Offline-first Installable PWA Private by design
Flagship product

An offline EMS field reference that works on every call.

One field reference built around an EMS system's own Standing Medical Orders, with fast search and a weight-based drug calculator. It works fully with the phone in airplane mode — because the one place a connected app fails is exactly where the call is.

  • Your system's own protocols — authored from your Standing Medical Orders, not a national generic set.
  • Works on every call, even with no signal — the whole reference lives on the device.
  • A reference tool, not a medical device — the medic always verifies against the protocol.

More tools for first responders are in development. Same principles — built in the field, reliable offline, private by design.

04 — The Studio

Why Wexford

A Firefighter/Paramedic, building the tools he wished he had.

Wexford Studios is a small, bootstrapped Illinois studio, founded in 2026 by a working Firefighter/Paramedic. It's software shaped by someone who carries the bag and rides the rig — on shift, on real calls — and knows firsthand what a field tool has to do.

We'd rather field-test honestly than over-promise. Our first product is in an early pilot with real crews on real calls — and everything we build is judged by the same bar: does it hold up when the call comes in?
